Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026 · CV-Go by RunTimeZero

1. Acceptance

By using CV-Go ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. These terms are intentionally written in plain English — no legal traps, no hidden clauses.

2. What the service does

CV-Go is a free, browser-based tool that helps you generate a professional, ATS-optimized CV in PDF format. The Service operates entirely client-side: no data you enter is transmitted to or stored on any server. All processing happens inside your own browser.

3. Data & privacy

We collect no personal data. Specifically:

Your CV content exists only in your browser's memory while the page is open. When you close the tab, it's gone. We have no access to it.

4. Intellectual property

The content you enter into CV-Go (your name, work history, skills, etc.) belongs entirely to you. CV-Go makes no claim over any content you create using the Service.

The CV-Go application itself — its code, design, and brand — is owned by RunTimeZero. You may not copy or redistribute the application without permission.

5. Free to use

CV-Go is free to use with no hidden costs. There are no premium tiers, no watermarks, and no features locked behind a subscription. If this ever changes, it will be clearly communicated.

We accept voluntary contributions via the "Support the Server" link to help cover hosting costs. Contributions are never required and do not unlock any features.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

CV-Go is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees that your CV will pass any specific ATS system, secure any job, or meet any particular employer's requirements. The ATS optimization features are based on publicly available best practices as of 2026, but individual systems vary.

We are not responsible for any outcome — positive or negative — resulting from use of the Service.

7. Third-party libraries

CV-Go loads pdfmake from a CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) only when you click "Download PDF." This is the only external resource loaded by the Service. pdfmake is open-source (MIT license). We have no affiliation with its authors.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
